Admission procedures and Admission Policy
Parents of young children with special needs are always welcome to visit the Nursery to meet the children and staff, as well as to gain some insight into the kind of activities and work which goes on here at Wigston Menphys Nursery.
Admissions to the Nursery are in accordance with the Local Authority criteria for entry to a Specialist Nursery.
Prior to discussion at an Admissions Panel, a recommendation must be made by the Early Years SEN Inclusion Service.
All places at the nursery are allocated and funded by the Local Authority once eligibility has been agreed by a multi-disciplinary panel.
Please see our Admissions Policy document, below and a link to Leicestershire school admissions.
